Lake Mead National Recreation Area – National Park

The Historic Railroad Trail is one of the park’s two National Recreation Trails. The trail was once a train route used to deliver materials to the Hoover Dam. It travels to the dam through five tunnels that offer shade from the summer heat. Be sure to bring plenty of water for you and your pets.
